Welcome to Christian Action’s Recycyle Program, where one person's trash is another's treasure!  It's about reuse, keeping good stuff out of landfills and helping the needy in the process.

HK $2.1 million: The amount raised for services to the disadvantaged last year.

How it works:

  1. Unclutter your life: donate good unwanted clothes, shoes, toys and small electrical appliances;
  2. Get some friends or neighbours to join you;
  3. We pick it up or you drop it off at our Choi Hung office!

How it helps:

  1. You gain space;
  2. Your stuff gets redistibuted to the needy;
  3. Surplus stuff is sold through our Green Recycle shops, fairs and other events and the proceeds then support even more charitable work;
  4. Ethnic minorities, newly arrived immigrants from Mainland China and other graduates of our training programs get valuable work experience in the Green Recycle shops.
  5. The planet sighs with relief.

Start Now:

  1. Make a fun group event of it with friends, neighbors or work mates;
  2. Arrange a pick-up: email secondhand@christian-action.org.hk or call 2456-2220 or;
  3. Help us cut costs by droping-off your stuff at our Head Office (entrance opposite the Fire Services Bldg). Click here for a map

Other ways to help:

  1. Organize a group donation event at your school, church or workplace.
  2. Companies can make charitable donations of excess stock for many items.
  3. Holding a Fair or other event? We can put on games and presentations - or put on charitable booth - selling quality used items and raising funds at same time;
  4. Volunteer to be a pick-up driver for your area;
